Bureau Veritas is a verification and testing company had their west façade directly receving intense heat and glare pouring through its windows . The LEED rated building needed better heat control on the west façade for the employees to function productively there.

Solution

Frustated with unwanted glare and heat entering the building, the owners contacted exclusive Ecodrive experts to specify a solution that could alleviate the problem. After thorough constulation and analysis, ecodrive suggested a highest heat rejection film from the ecobuild series on the external facade.

The new coal india headquarters in Kolkata, planning to go for a LEED rating had an issue of excessive heat and glare from their roof and façade Glasses. So much so that they needed extremely high heat rejection to be able to keep the air-conditioing load in check to be able to achieve the energy savings as per GRIHA standards.

Solution

Architects and green building consultants of the project, appointed Ecodrive to install more than 10000 sq. ft of high heat rejection film with a heat rejection capabllity of more than 80%, to reduce the heat load of the building significantly, thus, getting great energy savings for the project.

Result

The installation of the film provided great comfort from unwanted heat and UV tranmssion inside the building leading to excellent energy savings for the project. This leaded the project getting a GRIHA rating due the superior performance of the film.
